Carolynne Born is bringing her experience as a retired public relations professional and longtime community member to her campaign for Pittsburg City Council.

Her campaign focuses on increasing citizen involvement in local decision-making and encouraging residents to make their voices heard on issues affecting Pittsburg’s future.

As part of that effort, Born is taking her campaign directly into the community through her Listening Tour in Pittsburg city parks, giving residents an opportunity to talk about what they want for their city.

Issues she is highlighting include the proposed Data Center and the balance between economic opportunity and environmental concerns.
